Fall 2022 Travels

Over Labor Day week, we spent some time visiting our friends Ron & Jean in New Jersey. We enjoyed time in their pool, had incredible food (as always) and even took a trip to Atlantic City to dine at the very delicious and very mysterious Chef Volas.

Most importantly, we walked a 5 mile "race" to celebrate Ron's one-year anniversary of his liver transplant. Yes. Liver. Transplant. He's doing absolutely phenomenal and has become quite the 0.0% beer connoisseur.

From New Jersey, we headed south to Atlanta, Georgia where we were happy to see our friends Liberty and Janell tie the knot.

Liberty and Janell were supposed to get married in Curacao last year (see my post here!) but COVID happened and they had to postpone the ceremony. So here we are! We've known these two for several years, dating back to my time at Cleveland State. We couldn't be happier to celebrate their wedding day with them.

In November, we visited Kevin and Lisa at their new home in St. Petersburg, Florida! They finally took the plunge and moved to Florida in September and we had a great time exploring the area and enjoying each other's company.
